This will walk through the process of adding the different width materials to the default Illustrator Templates.
- To start off you will need to open 2 windows of windows file explorer.
- In the initial window, navigate to the template folder located on the data server.
\\DATA-SERVER\Lexie Storage\PrePress\Templates
- In the second window, navigate to the templates folder within the Adobe program.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2024\Cool Extras\en_US\Templates
Please note that the folder "Adobe Illustrator 2024" might have a different name if you are using a different version.
- Copy all the files and folders in the first explorer window and paste them into the second explorer window.
You may need admin permission to copy files into the programs folder.
- Restart Illustrator and you should be able to open those templates for the within Illustrator.
