To create a deal for a new estimate or order request:
Open HubSpot > CRM > Deals
Make sure you are in the Existing Customer Pipeline
In the top right corner, click the orange "Create deal" button
Enter the company name, estimate number, and your name as the Deal Name
- Example: Leapin' Lizard Labels - Est 00000 - Lexie
Change the Deal stage to the appropriate stage
- Initial Outreach - A quote has been sent to the customer. Move Deal to In Follow-Up to trigger a reminder task.
- In Follow-Up - An automatic task reminder will be sent once a week to check in with the customer.
- Closed Won - The estimate was accepted or the order was submitted to the WIP. A ticket is automatically created.
- Closed Lost - The order has been voided. Select the reason the order was voided and if the customer is new or existing. Add additional notes as needed.
- If a customer decides they would like to reopen their request, move the Deal back to In Follow-Up or Closed-Won and update the title of the Deal with the new estimate number.
Enter the amount of the estimate or order, if known
Select the appropriate Lead Quality
- High - This is our ideal order! High $ amount, large quantity, the artwork is print-ready, the customer is ready to proceed
- Average - Has some or most of the high-quality order elements
- Low - Not an ideal order. Low $ amount, small quantity, low-quality files, the customer is not ready to proceed
