Packing up orders: shipping, pickup, blind shipments
Shipping Orders
1. Quality check
- Ensure all labels, roll counts, and line items are correct.
- Inspect the labels for defects (smudging, misalignment, etc.)
2. Packing the order
- Select an appropriately sized box and poly bag for the order.
- When taping the box, ensure all tape runs in the same direction for a clean finish.
- Include a sticky lizard in the box unless otherwise specified.
3. Labeling and final touches
- Attach the packing slip to the outside of the box where the tape connects.
- Apply a "printed with love" label to the top of the box.
- Affix the shipping label to the side of the box.
For blind shipments, it is essential to exclude any materials that identify Leapin Lizard, such as packing slips, "printed with love" labels, or sticky lizards. This helps ensure that the recipient remains unaware of the shipment's origin.
Pickup Orders
1. Quality check and packing
- Follow the same quality check and packing steps as shipping orders.
2. Labeling and placement
- Fill out a "printed with love" label (with brown backing) with the relevant order information.
- Place the completed order up front for pickup.
