CSR Rush Order SOP

How to handle rush requests

TLDR:

  • Acquire desired due date and shipping location from client
  • Explain process and rush fee
  • Assign to designer with all the info available and request any needed info.
  • If client is still working out artwork details--assign to designer

-Acquire desired due date and shipping location.

-Explain process:

Rush Process Language for Clients: Our ability to rush an order depends greatly upon the order details and our current production schedule. Unfortunately, we cannot give a guaranteed completion date, but we can provide a good-faith estimate. Informing us of the exact date you are hoping to get your order in hand is strongly recommended, as it helps us know if we are able to accommodate your request. We are only able to begin production on a rush order once we receive print-ready artwork, the digital proof has been approved, and payment has been made. We will connect you with a pre-press designer from our team who will reach out as soon as possible. They will run everything by our production team and then let you know if we can accommodate your rush request timeline. The pre-press designer will also send you a list of expedited shipping options if desired.

*Any edits or changes made after the digital proof is approved result in production delays

*The due date/ship date is subject to change based on clients response time

-Explain rush fee:

  • Any rush on an order $500 and lower = $50
  • Any rush on an order over $500 will be 10% of the order value. Example $1000 rush order = $100.
Please note: The Rush fee can be waived for first costumers

-Assign to designer with all available info and request any needed info.

Order of events:

-Client sends print ready artwork, sizes, quantities, mailing address, exact date the order is needed in hand.

-Client approves digital proof

-Production team reviews rush request with approved artwork and order details

-Pre-press designer sends due date/ship date and price list with express shipping options

-Client selects shipping option

-Pre-press designer sends invoice with payment link

-Upon payment, order is placed in production queue

If client does not have print ready artwork:

-Assign to designer to help right off the bat with all available info.
