A foolproof plan to help determine the label dimensions for a clients container/s along with the nessesary disclaimer.
TLDR:
Have the client fill out the Container Measurement Form
See results here: Container Measurement Form (Responses)
List client status and needs in the contact notes in HubSpot or the production notes in the quote.
Once received, pass the containers and form results on to the designers to be measured
Update or create a quote with the measurements and proceed with the order.
Container measurement SOP:
-Depending on the circumstances, start by sending the client the below YouTube video with tips on how to measure your containers at home:

-If they are still unsure, offer the service of having the client send their containers to us to be measured and have them fill out the form below.

-Take note of where the client is in the ordering process, new or current client, if they have a deadline, if they want an updated quote once the measurements are taken, etc. List this info either in the contact's notes in HS or in the production notes on Cyrious.
-Once the containers are received, pass the form results and containers on to Cody(or one of the designers) to be measured.
-Once measurements are received from the designers, reiterate that we cannot guarantee the measurements will fit their containers therefore we recommend proofs. Update or create quote with the measurements. Proceed with order.
Good faith measurement disclaimer:
Please note: We cannot guarantee that your labels will fit based on the measurements we find. This is a good faith measurement based on the label we recommend, and we would strongly encourage receiving press proofs prior to placing a full order to ensure they fit properly.
If you would like to proceed without samples, please note that we cannot guarantee the quality of the final print and cannot provide reprints at a discounted rate.
